Fat- and carbohydrate-free Tabasco sauce is good for a multitude of purposes. Except spilling all over the kitchen cabinet by the virtue of falling down from the top of the fridge onto hard surface. The stains turned out pretty hard to get out. The regular moist paper towel approach did not quite work, neither did spraying the Tabasco stains with Windex cleaning liquid that tends to work quite well on furniture. I figured out that Comet will help, being sold as the cleaning powder for white hard surfaces, but to no avail - the orange stains were still there, pretty bad deal for an apartment that I would be moving out of as of end of this month. Solution? Clorox Bleach Pen - a homecare essential for the savvy modern girl, according to the promo site. Luckily the surface that needed cleaning was white, so applying some bleach and letting it stay for 3-5 minutes, and then wiping the whole thing with a paper towel did wonders.
