CiceroUIWndFrame problem

Corporate-issued laptop seems to have a consistent problem with CiceroUIWndFrame not closing fast enough for the shutdown to go through. So every time one restarts Windows XP or tries to shut it down, the CiceroUIWndFrame window needs to be shut down manually.

That is the Speech and Handwriting Recognition part of MS Office. To fix it, open the Control panel – Add/Remove Programs – Microsoft Office, click on the “Change” button browse to the Office Shared Features – Alternative User Input – and select both Speech and Handwriting “Not available” from the drop-down box. Make the change and the error messages should disappear.

    I uninstalled all Office, Student, and Works programs, and it still continues to be a problem.

    I cannot go to this step “browse to the Office Shared Features – Alternative User Input – and select both Speech and Handwriting “Not available” from the drop-down box. ” when I click on “Change” button it are asking me to select “Add / Remove Feature”, “Reinstall / Repair” and “Uninstall” so which one should I need to select in order to browse to the Office Shared Features? Im using “Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003″.

    I tried the fix and it worked for a while, now the ciceroUIWndFrame shows up again. I went back to Control Panel to be sure everything was as it should be and it was. Now I am really stumped. There must be something else wrong.

    I also made speech and handwriting unavailable, but still the CiceroUIWndFrame won’t shut down. Since I had these features available and the computer worked fine for YEARS, I can’t see how this could have just suddenly started throwing errors. Why not as soon as I installed Office?
