Did ya know that you can subscribe to company-specific news from Yahoo! Finance in RSS format? Request like

http://finance.yahoo.com/rss/headline?s=YHOO

accepts 1 and more company tickers.

http://finance.yahoo.com/rss/headline?s=YHOO,GOOG,MSFT

    Maybe you can help me: I use the Yahoo! finance portfolio site. But it hangs up with “api.finance.yahoo.com” trying to load. At least that’s what shows at lower left of screen. Otherwise everything else works fine - and this doesn’t show anywhere else.

    I’m not too swift - don’t know from ‘badges’, ‘RSS’ etc.
    Any suggestions will be appreciated - in low tech language.
