Get a free Dr Dobbs Journal subscription

Dr Dobb’s Journal is one of the magazines I read cover to cover just for the sake of it. Whether you learn about modern testing and debugging from the current issue or embedded systems and robotics or optimizing genetic algorithms from previous issues. The last issue had a free 12-month subscription available at http://free.ddjsub.com for pretty much anybody who qualifies. Some issues might seem a bit worthless, like if their topic of the month is Java performance and debugging, and you don’t have to deal with Java ever, but overall the amount and quality of technical information per issue is quite good.
