Not only outsourced operations generally rack up expenses 30% higher than originally, but 80% of those organizations who outsource to save cost will fail to do so, according to the latest report from Gartner. The researcher also noted that 60% of those organizations who outsource their customer service face irate customers and start losing revenues. It might dampen recent growth in outsourcing, but to be fair, Gartner analyst in News.com article says that some organizations do outsource quite successfully.
