Looks like Google’s aggressive subsidizing of Google Checkout purchases at selected major retailers reached a certain market share to get the market leader worrying: Paypal will introduce $20 rebates if you choose to pay with Paypal November 23rd through May 15, 2007. Looks like one has to sign up for the promotion on Paypal site. Stores involved in the promotion include Barnes & Noble, Dell, iTunes, NewEgg, eBay (naturally), Hotwire, Napster and others.
