ADTMag looks at the current state in the evolution of Web-driven software. eBay developer program currently has 21,000 developers who signed up, and caused 1,600 new applications to come into this world. Amazon Web Services has impressive membership count of 140,000. Yahoo! Developer Network does not provide any data on the number of developers, but provides an impressive variety of information delivered from Yahoo! servers to API-driven apps. Google Web APIs are currently in beta stage, so looks like the company is still experimenting with what exactly is being open to the world. Salesforce also doesn’t provide the data on its developer program participation, but provides APIs for building on top of the popular CRM app.
