Yahoo! Answers was launched into public beta last night, and there’s a pretty good overview at SearchEngineWatch blog, with some discussion from Michael Parekh and Silicon Beat.
Going to my Q&A page page on Answers reveals some functionality to be added later on. Namely, this:

I used it, it’s actually quiet useful, I’ve been rating answers and asked a question of my own
